Technical condition requirements for removed dics brake terminals

THE SUPPLIER REQUIRES THAT THE BRAKE CALIPERS BE RETURNED IN THE ORIGINAL " FTE " PACKAGING, WITH A VISIBLE (SCANNABLE & READABLE) BARCODE.

1. The index of the returned core must match the index of the purchased finished product.

2. The core must have the original manufacturer's markings (OE).

3. The returned core must be complete and not disassembled.

4. The returned part cannot be remanufactured.

5. The core must not be cracked, damaged or mechanically modified.

6. The core must not be excessively corroded (includes no pitting).

7. Fixings, connections, supports, air vents and core guides must not be damaged.

Electric terminal - motor housing. Can it have a:

>> cracked casing? - NO

>> damaged electrical plug? - NO

>> Does the motor has to be screwed to the clamp? - YES

Unacceptable examples

The original barcode on the box must not be covered or blocked in any way. The barcode must be readable - mandatory

Only FTE boxes and FTE-validated customer boxes are accepted.

Any damage or defects to the electric motor and/or connections in the electric handbrakes - unacceptable.

High level of corrosion on the guide pin surface - unacceptable

Internal parts are corroded and damaged - unacceptable

---

The surface is corroded and the core cannot be used for the regeneration process - unacceptable

---

Advanced corrosion throughout the core casing. Areas are corroded to the point of being almost non-existent, making core regeneration impossible - unacceptable.

Extreme corrosion. The contact surfaces for the brake pads are so corroded that they are almost non-existent - unacceptable.

---

Unauthorized repair. The pin has been inserted, the thread is damaged and traces of machining are visible - unacceptable.

---

Advanced corrosion throughout the core body, e.g. pin holes, brake pad surfaces. These areas are corroded to the point of being almost non-existent. This makes it impossible to use the core for regeneration - unacceptable.

Brittle clamp. The support is broken and the core cannot be rebuilt - unacceptable.

---

Serious damage. Wrong disassembly or something similar. Part of the casing was cut off - unacceptable.
