Steering gear without power steering

Technical condition requirements for removed steering gears without power steering

1. The returned core must be a complete, unoccupied nomenclature.

 

2. Index of the returned core must match or be interchangeable with the index of the purchased part.

3. The core must have the original manufacturer's markings.

4. The housing must not be damaged, cracked.

5. The core can not be blocked (the shaft must be able to rotate freely) .

6. Connection holes, threads must not be deformed, damaged by mechanical means.

7. Fixings, handles can not be damaged, broken.

8. The toothed rack must not be corroded. It is necessary to check the condition of the toothed rack (please cut, move the rubber covers and check the condition of the bar)
