Technical condition requirements for removed electric steering gears
1. The core must have a legible manufacturer number. 2. The index of the returned core (OE number) must match the index of the purchased final product. 3. The core must be clean, without any traces of lubricants, petroleum, oil, etc. 4. The returned core must not be sandblasted, ground or brushed. 5. The product must be complete, assembled and unmodified and must have all original or identical parts. It must not show any signs of disassembly. 6. The core must be returned in its original packaging (protected with stiffening elements that protect against transport damage). 7. If there is a risk of leakage of operating fluids, the product should be placed in a poly bag. 8. The core must not have any mechanical damage, corrosion and can’t be melted. 9. Tie rods can’t be bent, deformed, welded or not at the same angle. 10. The housing must not be mechanically damaged. 11. Electrical connectors must not have strong mechanical damage.

The manufacturer's number on the part (starting e.g. with 78..974) or the Bosch spare part number (starting with e.g. 78... or KS...) on the part, the Bosch spare part number (starting with e.g. 78... or KS...) on the box (as an auxiliary)
Surface corrosion on the tie rod - acceptable
Strong corrosion - unacceptable
Damaged housing - unacceptable
