Technical condition requirements for removed disk brake callipers
1. The index of the returned core must match the index of the purchased finished product.
2. The returned core must be complete and not disassembled.
3. The core must not be cracked, damaged or mechanically modified.
4. The core must not be excessively corroded (no pitting).
5. Fixings, connections, air vents and core guides must not be damaged.
6. The core must be returned in the original packaging.
Unacceptable examples
Hole for attaching the set is damaged
Worn – the housing interfered with the brake disc → reduced wall thickness
Mounting ears broken off / screw hole damaged
Missing bridge / has been dismantled
Dust cover collar damaged/broken
Missing yoke – has been dismantled
No piston – it has been dismantled
Damaged mounting area on plastic housing
The area that protects the DC motor mechanism damaged
The collar is damaged – a part of the collar is torn off
No handbrake cable hook – it has been removed
