Recirculator

HIGHWAY AUTO

Technical condition requirements for removed recirculators

The basis for accepting the recirculator for reconditioning is its completeness (body and throttle) and the absence of mechanical damage.

1. The recirculator should be carefully inspected and checked for traces of cracks on the body, detachment of screw fixings, holes, longitudinal transverse welds indicative of body repair, pitting.

2. It is necessary to conduct a thorough inspection of the throttle flaps.
Throttle flaps must be complete and original (the easiest way to tell by the presence of rivets).
The flaps should move evenly. Deflection of one of the flaps - disqualifies the entire deposit. ( Please refer to the images below, which should help you identify).

3. The throttle should be checked to see if there is a valve on it and, as with the body, check its mechanical condition.

4. The recirculator should be complete and not disassembled into components.

5. The openings should be plugged in such a way as to prevent leakage of residual liquids in transit. They should also be packed in a cardboard box after a new module and secured to protect them from damage.
