DPF Filter
Technical condition requirements for removed DPF Filter
The deposit can only be refunded if all criteria are met:
1. The DPF filter is an OE product or an approved product.
2. The filter visually meets the return requirements.
3. The DPF filter has no traces of soot or black spots on the outlet side.
4. The DPF filter has no traces of thermal discoloration on the housing or traces of melted core.
5. The DPF filter is not oily and has no discoloration or stains.
6. The DPF filter has no cracks, delaminations or cavities and the housing has no dents.
7. The DPF filter cartridge is stably embedded in the housing.
8. The DPF filter is returned in its original packaging.
9. Cores that show signs of chemical damage (stains from fluid, rust, AdBlue(r) and other chemicals) cannot be reconditioned.
10. Cores with significant physical damage to the ceramic substrate cannot be reconditioned (such as: soot on the outlet, melting, cracks or large chips).
11.. Cores in which the ceramic substrate has been displaced (pushed out) are acceptable, provided that the substrate does not show signs of damage as discussed above.
