Technical condition requirements for removed air dryers

As requested by the supplier, only cores with the filter unscrewed will be accepted online. If a core is submitted with a filter installed, it will be rejected online until it is dismantled.

1. The core must have a readable manufacturer number.

2. The index of the returned core must match the index of the purchased final product.

3. The core must have a Knorr or Wabco nameplate. Cores from other manufacturers are not accepted.

4. The core must not have any mechanical damage caused by improper maintenance or disassembly of the old part: e.g. impacts, cuts, grinding, breakage and browning.

5. The returned part must be complete (still without the filter - see image below), assembled and without any traces of disassembly or modification. No screwed or press-mounted parts e.g. electronics, compression piston rods, plugs – unacceptable. 6. The core must not be heavily corroded behind the outer part of the housing or casting.

7. The returned core must not show excessive oxidation on the outside of the housing or casting.

8. Returns must not show any signs of excessive damage caused by excessive use or improper operation.
