Technical condition requirements for the compressed air compressors
1. The compressor can not be cracked, broken or deformed.
2. The air compressor can not be heavily corroded or burnt (structural stability must not be damaged).
3. The shaft and thread can not be damaged.
4. The head may not be cracked or deformed.
5. The body, handles and mounting holes of the compressor must not be damaged or deformed.
6. Screw threads and bolts must not be damaged or deformed.
7. Compressor should be complete, it can not be decomposed into components or changed in any way.
8. The compressor must have a nameplate with the WABCO part number.
9. The recovered core must be compatible or interchangeable with the index of the purchased product.
Unacceptable examples
Mechanical damage - unacceptable
Scratches on the exterior crank surface - acceptable
Damage or impact marks to the crankcase on the sealing surfaces - unacceptable
Scratches on end covers, painted end covers, minor damage - acceptable
Scratches on the gear wheel - acceptable
No nut on the wheel, slight thread damage - acceptable
Scratches, paint on the cylinder head - acceptable
Deformed (damaged) thread/ thread hole - unacceptable
Not complete (partialy disassembled) unit - unacceptable
Surface corrosion and dirt - acceptable
Heavy pitting corrosion (Not off-vehicle condition) - unacceptable
Sign of hit (damage on the crankcase sealing area) - unacceptable
Deformed thread in crankshaft - unacceptable
Not complete (partialy disassembled) unit - unacceptable
Deformation of the gear wheel - acceptable
Light deformation of the front surface of crankshaft (thread not damaged) - acceptable
