Technical condition requirements for removed alternators
1. The index of the returned core must be consistent or interchangeable with the index of the purchased final product.
2. The core should have the original O.E. manufacturer's label/nameplate located on the core housing. The OE numbers must be legible. Cores with an illegible original manufacturer's label and parts that are copies of products manufactured by "O.E" manufacturers are not accepted.
3. The returned core must be complete and not disassembled.
4. The returned core must not have any external mechanical damage.
Unacceptable examples
The index of the returned core must be compatible or interchangeable with the index of the finished product and must be on the list of indexes to be returned
Non-original core - unacceptable
Incomplete core - unacceptable
Incomplete core (plastic housing) - unacceptable
Damage to the housing / fastening - not acceptable
Corrosion / Burnt housing - Not Acceptable
No original label - unacceptable
