Requirements for the technical condition of the removed power steering gears
The index of the returned core must match the index of the finished product. The supplier stipulates the need to purchase as well as return gears with the same index (e.g.: RIV20071= RIV20071). If this condition is not met, the gears will not be accepted.
1. the outer casing, body mounting brackets or screw holes must not be cracked or deformed.
2. The gearbox must not be heavily corroded (violation of structural stability).
3. It is allowed that spline teeth, threaded holes as well as steering rods are damaged or beheaded.
4. It is allowed that wires are bent, disassembled.
IT IS NOT REQUIRED TO CHECK THE CONDITION OF THE STRIP
