Pneumatic suspension - ARNOTT

Arnott

Pneumatic suspension

In the core regeneration process, Arnott uses only original product cores. For this reason, Arnott does not accept returns on parts classified as non-genuine cores. As part of the company's policy, the deposit is only refundable when cores classified as OE are returned. If non-original cores are returned, the deposit will not be refunded.

These criteria are necessary to ensure high quality remanufactured components that meet the criteria and ensure the functionality of OE components.

Characteristics of non-original cores (non OE):

• High quality label on the product label

• Non-genuine supplier labels

• Shock absorber components in "high gloss" finish

• ATC label

• White seal

• Spot welds

• ALS valves (couplings).

• Spot welded studs

Below we can see the examples of the characteristics described above.

The list is not exhaustive and does not guarantee that the remaining cores will be accepted. The final decision rests with Arnott.

Note: Arnott reserves the right to scrap returned cores that do not meet Arnott standards.

Unacceptable examples

"High-quality" markings on the labels can be found in different places on the shock absorbers.

Non-genuine supplier labels. Some suppliers usually do not possess stock OE column suspension. Such cores are not considered genuine and cannot be accepted. Below are some examples of non-original core markings. If in doubt, consult Arnott before returning cores.

Finishing. Bellows and shock absorber components finished in glossy reflective paint are not original OE parts.

White sealing. White sealant / adhesive is not used in original products to secure the cover of the top mount. In OE products, push-in assembly is used without additional sealing.

Welded spots. Spot welds on the valve housing and shock mounts indicate aftermarket parts. The only exception are the struts for the Mercedes-Benz S-Class W220 (AS-2193 & AS-2194) with spot welds.

ALS valves (couplings). Valves marked as ALS are not OE valves, so the cores on which they occur are treated as non-genuine. Only shock absorbers with VOSS valves are considered to be original.
